Wow.  Pretty amazing seeing the fan response to this episode of MyMusic.

I can share with you on set, this was a very emotional day for the cast, crew, and myself, and how can it not be with the cast performances?

This show has grown so much since its beginnings, and our goal as comedy writers has always been to create such fun and absurdist moments that allow you to get to know the characters and universe, but in the end, love taking those same feelings of laughter and turning them to heartfelt emotion.

We love comedy - it’s this amazing feeling to stop thinking about your every day and problems of life, to smile, to laugh, at content.  Those same feelings I’ve always felt can turn to tears in the good way, which I hope is what many of you experienced today.  Heart inside of comedy is not done often enough, and this is just the beginning of “the feels” of MyMusic Season 2.

Huge thanks to our crew who make the show look so great, huge ups to our cast who bring this to life in ways we never could have imagined, and a shout to all the MyMusicians for supporting this show and all its transmedia madness. (Be sure to follow Idol, she will keep you posted on her reality show of course!) 

Finally, a big huzzah to Grace Helbig for her incredible performance as Idol - one of my favorite characters I’ve ever written.
